| (Submitted by Brian Wilson) Uruguay is a small South American country on the south end of Brazil, population around 3 1/2 million. Punta del Este is an upscale resort town on the south east end of the country. Seasons are opposite to Canada, and from December to March the town is full of vacationing Argentinos and Brazilians. Aero Club Punta del Este is located at Aeropuerto El Jaguel about 15 minutes from downtown. Winter holidays had me spend a week in town, and an airplane ride was in order.
